a place to relax

outdoor restaurant

Sad

It’s the end of an era. The New Piccadilly Restaurant closes tomorrow.
If you never went, you missed a treat. How many Formica table tapped restaurants remain in London? My dad took me there when I was 10 and I’ve been going ever since.

The most comfortable seat in Crystal Palace

Outdoor seating. Outside the Palace Cafe, under the scaffolding. You get to eat your food out of the original tins as well. I know where I’m going for breakfast.

Dahi puri

Dahi puri
The greatest Dahi Puri I have ever eaten, actually I may be the only one I have eaten. Still you have to start somewhere. What a great dish, puts a smile on your tastebuds and can be found in ‘Kastoori’ in tootin’. yum, yum.

What a lovely menu

What a lovely menu
The menu for the New Piccadilly Restaurant in London, I think the first Restaurant I ever went to when I was a kid. I don’t think the menu has changed and the place isn’t so new any more. Still great though
